Top Tracks of September 2019

10/01/2019 - Top Tracks

After quite a busy music month, I had to choose my favourites, which was quite difficult due to the many new tracks, but here we go!

Let’s start off with something that isn’t necessarily release related: the HellaMegaTour. Three major bands, Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer, announced a mega tour together on September 10 along with a new single each. Check out the new tracks here;
Green Day, Father Of All…:
Fall Out Boy, Dear Future Self (Hands Up):
Weezer, The End Of The Game:

Next up; my favourite single. This month I picked Boys Like You by Dodie.
This song talks about falling in love with the ‘wrong’ boys, the video clip that belongs to this song displays the message wonderfully through a dance, which Dodie performs herself with some others.
The track itself is lovely to sing along to and can easily get stuck in your head.

And last, but definitely not least: my favourite album. I’m talking about Hollywood’s Bleeding by Post Malone. This album contains proper bops, a few crazy collabs and has the power to make everyone jam along whether they know the lyrics or not. Just as the last track on the album says: Wow.
My personal favourites are Allergic and A Thousand Bad Times. Allergic talks about a toxic relationship, A Thousand Bad Times talks about Post’s failed relationships, this song also encourages the listener to fight and get through the bad times.
