Top Tracks Of March 2019

04/01/2019 - Reviews, Top Tracks

This month has been full of new music releases, and I’m going to walk you trough my favourite album and single.

My favorite album is WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? by Billie Eilish. Billie Eilish has gained a lot more fans over the past few months, and thanks to her debut album even more.
What I like most about her album is that she explicitly asked her fans on Instagram to listen to the tracks in the order they are placed on the album. Behind all the tracks there is a storyline throughout the whole album, especially the last three song titles, which form a sentence. The sentence being: “Listen before I go, I love you, goodbye.”
I can’t say that I have one favorite track because I love everything on there, but I do have a few songs that I like more than others. For example, Bad guy. The song has an incredibly catchy melody in between verses and the chorus, which makes me want to dance and I like how she managed to put little conversations from the series ‘The Office’ in the song My strange addiction.
But the song I love the most is I love you, the instrumentals are very simple in comparison to the other songs. The song brings a sad aura along and the crescendo leading up in the chorus is put together really well.

My favorite single is by a band called MOSES, it’s a band from the United Kingdom and not really well known with around 300.000 listeners per month. Their last single is called I think you worry too much, my favorite single this month. The song indicates that people worry too much, as you can guess by the title. I personally think that people should be reminded of this, just do what you want to do and don’t worry too much about the opinion of others. The song is easy to sing along with and quite catchy.
